Andrea Caro has spent a lifetime in music
From learning
classical piano at the age of four, obstinately refusing advice
that her fingers were too small, to her sell-out show headlining
San Francisco's Great American Music Hall, music has been, and
continues to be the constant major force in Andrea's life.
After studying music at Kingsway College, she spent every last
penny she had on a 1973 Fender Rhodes electric piano and started
writing her own material in 1996. She has toured extensively across
London, playing to audiences in venues including The Garage, The
Borderline, the Hope & Anchor & Ronnie Scott's.
A three month tour
of San Francisco included an appearance as guest vocalist with a
local freestyle hip-hop artist, and culminated in the headlining of
the Great American Music Hall's monthly showcase of the best
emerging talent.
In 2001, Andrea scored and sound designed the award-winning short
'The Note', and has since created a body of work targeted
specifically for scoring film and Television, some of which is
available on the Music page. Of course, these are only indications
of styles, genres and influences to date.
